• Red Nose Day!

  The children have had a lovely day today for Red Nose Day, raising money for Comic Relief.  They came into school in something red, had a red-themed pizza lunch with watermelon and strawberry lollies and finished off the brilliant Science Week with a Slime workshop from Wild Science.

• Mothers Day Craft and Cake

  We loved welcoming in the mummys and some auntys/grannys for our Mothers Day craft and cake event.  We hope you enjoyed spending some time with your child/ren at school and thank you for coming in!

  

• World Book Day

  A huge thank you to Mrs Watkins for organising another brilliant World Book Day.  Children were invited to come into school in pyjamas or onesies to celebrate our "Snuggle up and Read" theme.

   

  We were very lucky to have an actor from The Drama Hut come in all morning to give the children storytelling workshops on fairytales. It included some writing, lots of drama, lots of storytelling and lots of fun! A huge thank you to the P&F for funding this exciting morning for the children.

   

  There was also a "Get caught reading!" competition and we received some fantastic entries, including reading up trees and even in a washing machine! Thank you for your support in this competition.
