• Golden Values Award - Spring Term

  Congratulations to Joshua, Stella and Xander for being awarded our Golden Values Award for the Spring Term.  All three pupils were recognised for consistently following our school values of Love, Honesty, Respect, Perseverance, Resilience and Stewardship.  Well done to you all!

  

• Bee Talk

  Howard Pool, one of our Governors and a keen and experienced bee keeper, came in to talk to the children about bees and pollination and showed them the equipment needed.

  

• Easter activities

  The children enjoyed doing some Easter baking, making Easter bonnets and doing a scavenger hunt around the playground using clues and working together to get their Easter rewards.

• Holding our chicks!

  On Thursday 24th March, the children all sat in a quiet circle and had the opportunity to carefully hold our chicks, which hatched last week. They learned about how they hatch and watched them grow over two weeks.

  

• Dance festival at Dr Challoners High School

  On Tuesday 22nd March, the children all travelled to Dr Challoners High School for the Dance festival. They performed two dances, one by Reception and one by KS1.

  

• Red nose day!

  The children were invited to come into school with red hair, hair accessories or nails on Friday 18th March in exchange for a voluntary donation to Comic Relief, Red Nose Day appeal.  We raised £80 for this well-deserving cause, thank you for your kind donations!

• Antarctica talk by Mrs Watts

  The lovely Mrs Watts treated the children to a talk and slideshow from her recent trip to Antarctica. The children enjoyed seeing photos and videos of penguins, seals, whales as well as amazing icebergs and scenery.
