Dance festival at Dr Challoners High School
Tue 22 Mar 2022On Tuesday 22nd March, the children all travelled to Dr Challoners High School for the Dance festival. They performed two dances, one by Reception and one by KS1.

Red nose day!
Mon 21 Mar 2022The children were invited to come into school with red hair, hair accessories or nails on Friday 18th March in exchange for a voluntary donation to Comic Relief, Red Nose Day appeal. We raised £80 for this well-deserving cause, thank you for your kind donations!

Antarctica talk by Mrs Watts
Thu 17 Mar 2022The lovely Mrs Watts treated the children to a talk and slideshow from her recent trip to Antarctica. The children enjoyed seeing photos and videos of penguins, seals, whales as well as amazing icebergs and scenery.

Science Week - our Living Eggs hatching programme has arrived!
Tue 15 Mar 2022On Monday 14th March, our Living Eggs hatching programme arrived at school, to complement our studies of "Growth" for Science Week. The children are all very excited and can't wait for the chicks to hatch!

Holi dance workshop March 2022
Tue 08 Mar 2022On Monday 7th March, Kalpesh from K'zdance Entertainment visited the school and delivered a brilliant Bollywood dance workshop and a Holi festival of colours celebration. The children learned a variety of dances, which they then performed to parents in the playground. This was followed by a Holi festival celebration of colours, where children, staff and parents decorated each other with powder paints.

World Book Day 2022
Thu 03 Mar 2022The children all dressed up as book characters to celebrate World Book Day on Thursday 3rd March - they all looked fantastic!
They also read books together and celebrated their love of reading!

Fri 18 Feb 2022Congratulations to Isabella, the entire Year 1 class and Sophia who are our Shining Stars of the Week. They all consistently demonstrated the golden value of Stewardship. The Year 1 class had a brilliant charity bake sale last week which raised money for Water Aid - well done Year 1!
