• Pizza making at the Plough

  Workshop and cookery session

  The owners of the Plough in Winchmore Hill ran a brilliant workshop at The Plough last week for Reception and Year 1, where they learned all about where food comes from, sustainability and got to make their own dough and pizzas. The Y2 children will attend on Wednesday June 8^th.

• Whole school trip to Waddesdon

  The children all went on a lovely trip to Waddesdon Manor, funded by a grant from the Rothschild Foundation. They took part in a Garden Explorers workshop, built bug hotels and explored the beautiful grounds of the National Trust property.  This was a fantastic opportunity for some outdoor learning related to our current topic.

• Golden Values Award - Spring Term

  Congratulations to Joshua, Stella and Xander for being awarded our Golden Values Award for the Spring Term.  All three pupils were recognised for consistently following our school values of Love, Honesty, Respect, Perseverance, Resilience and Stewardship.  Well done to you all!

  

• Bee Talk

  Howard Pool, one of our Governors and a keen and experienced bee keeper, came in to talk to the children about bees and pollination and showed them the equipment needed.

  

• Easter activities

  The children enjoyed doing some Easter baking, making Easter bonnets and doing a scavenger hunt around the playground using clues and working together to get their Easter rewards.

• Holding our chicks!

  On Thursday 24th March, the children all sat in a quiet circle and had the opportunity to carefully hold our chicks, which hatched last week. They learned about how they hatch and watched them grow over two weeks.
