Steel Pan Workshop 9th June 2021
Wed 09 Jun 2021We are very grateful to the P&F who kindly funded a visit from the Irie steel pan workshops company on Wednesday this week. The children were treated to a fantastic performance on the steel drums and learned all about the history of this amazing instrument. They danced in the playground and had thoroughly enjoyed themselves!

Shining Stars of the Week 28th May

£500 grant received!

We are delighted to announce that we have been awarded a Local School Nature Grant, thanks to players of the People's Postcode Lottery. Our pupils will be benefitting from £500 worth of equipment for science and Forest School. In addition, staff will receive training to help children learn outdoors. Mrs Bajwa and our year 1 pupils played an important role in applying for the grant and selected equipment that they felt would benefit their peers. The project is run by Learning through Landscapes and funded by People's Postcode Lottery.

St George's Day
Fri 23 Apr 2021The children all decorated cakes today to celebrate St George's Day. A huge thank you to Mrs Barron for baking the cupcakes and organising this activity for the children. Reception and year 1 made flags and waved them in the playground. Year 2 made dragons and all of the children chanted "Hoorah for St George!".
