World Religion Day

To celebrate World Religion Day the children took part in a morning of exciting activities. Groups of children from all classes worked together to learn about several world religions including Christianity, Judaism, Islam, Sikhism, Hinduism and Buddhism.

They thoroughly enjoyed watching film clips, exploring artefacts and talking with special visitors. We found out that although there are differences between religions, there are many similarities and that all religions teach us to love one and another, and to treat everyone with kindness and respect whatever their religious views.
