Reading

At Coleshill CE Infant School, we believe that reading is the core skill to everything that children do. It is integral to our school curriculum and is a fundamental life skill that impacts on the acquisition of knowledge. It is our aim for the children to promote a love of reading so that it becomes a pleasurable and meaningful daily activity. As a result, our children develop into fluent, independent and reflective readers who are confident in their comprehension skills and able to talk about books and authors.
