There was a wonderful buzz in school today as we came together to 'Snuggle up and Read' celebrating World Book Day. We spent time thinking about what makes reading fun and how fortunate we are to have access to such a variety of amazing books to ignite our love of reading. We shared our own favourite books with a buddy from another class and thoroughly enjoyed venturing into the garden to follow the clues to complete the scarecrow trail. We finished the day choosing a 'new to you' book from our Book Swap event. Thank you to everyone who sent photos in, donated pre-loved books, made wonderful scarecrows and continue support your children foster a love of reading all through the year.
