  Sports Week Challenge - The Results

  A big thank you to everyone who took part in our Sports Week Challenge last week. The children did a fantastic job walking, running, scooting, cycling and in some cases swimming to raise money for our school. The total distance travelled by all the children collectively was 332.69 miles! As the crow flies, this is further than Coleshill to Paris (234 miles), Edinburgh (315 miles) or even Cologne in Germany (331 miles). This is an amazing achievement and they should all be very proud of themselves. Well done to our competition winners - Carter Greenwood (Reception) who completed a fantastic 19.14 miles, Sienna and Sophia Rennemo-Shepherd (Year 1), who both clocked up 25 miles each and Isaac Pavone (Year 2) who managed to accumulate a whopping 25.75 miles in the week. 

   

  Thank you to all the parents who supported this event by encouraging their children to go out and get active and to everyone who sponsored them. 

   

  A huge thank you to Helen Atkinson, Laura Corney and the P&F Committee for organising this brilliant event!

• Steel Pan Workshop 9th June 2021

  We are very grateful to the P&F who kindly funded a visit from the Irie steel pan workshops company on Wednesday this week.  The children were treated to a fantastic performance on the steel drums and learned all about the history of this amazing instrument.  They danced in the playground and had thoroughly enjoyed themselves!
