Congratulations to Year 1 children on their Talent for Writing Awards
Fri 06 Mar 2020Year 1 entered a Young Writer’s Competition with the theme being Animal Adventures. The style of poetry that the children were required to write in was to write an acrostic poem and so we decided to link the poetry to our Rainforest topic and we wrote acrostic poems about the rainforest.
We were delighted to find out that all of the work submitted from Coleshill was chosen to be published and all the children who entered received a certificate, book mark and sticker. The competition received an excess of 15,000 entries so we are super proud of our Year 1 children.
